Does my travel insurance policy cover COVID-19 risks?
Yes, all our Corporate travel products (BusinessTravel, RiskPlus and MultiTrip) cover COVID-19 illness. It also applies to business and study trips to orange, (dark) red, unmarked destinations and black. Although the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends essential trip abroad only, we consider business or study trips to be essential. Your insurance covers all risks including COVID-19.
Can I insure quarantine placement abroad?
If your insurance policy includes an extension to ERV COVID, you are also insured against situations when you have to extend your trip abroad due to unintentional quarantine. We will reimburse you for the cost of substitute accommodationand transport back to the Czech Republic, each up to CZK 15,000 (both with a 20% deductible).
