ERV Evropská pojišťovna, the only specialist in travel insurance in the Czech Republic, will be renamed ERGO Cestovní Pojišťovna, a.s. as of 1 April 2026. After 33 years of operating in the Czech market, this change highlights our membership in the international ERGO Travel group. All other companies within our group have already successfully completed their rebranding, so now it is our turn. The ERGO brand, one of the largest and best-known insurance brands in Germany, will help us further strengthen our position on the Czech market. Our company logo will also change—featuring a modern red and petrol color scheme—and, after many years, the word “travel” will return to the logo, clearly reflecting our specialization.
Our corporate website, other online applications, and our email addresses will operate under the new domain ergo-cestovni.cz. The original domain will be redirected to the new one, ensuring that no emails or online visits are lost.
Everything else will continue to work exactly as you are used to. ERGO Cestovní Pojišťovna will remain a Czech joint-stock company with experts who know the local market inside out. We will continue to provide our clients with high-quality products, fast and professional assistance, and first-class service—in short, “the better” travel insurance. Even after the name change, you will still find us at our original address in Prague’s Karlín district, with the same company registration and VAT numbers, the same contacts, and the same phone numbers.
