Chairman of the Management Board Vladimír Krajíček and Member of the Board Ondřej Rušikvas are leaving, based on a mutual agreement with the shareholders, after 26 years with the Company. Libor Dvořák shall become the Managing Director of the Company from April 2019 and Štěpán Landík shall take over the duties of the Sales Director from January 2019.
In 1992 Vladimír Krajíček, together with Danish Europaeiske, founded the first specialized travel insurance company in Czechia, then called Evropské Cestovní Pojištění (European Travel Insurance). Managing the Company for 26 years he has been responsible also for development of sister companies in Poland, Russia and Ukraine in recent years. As a co-founder the Czech Insurance Association he was a Member of its Presidium until 2012. Ondřej Rušikvas as one of the first employees contributed greatly to the development of Evropská and in 1999 took over the responsibilities for sales and marketing within the Management Board.

During the long-term engagement of both managers Evropská gained a solid position of a market leader, trend setter and respected player with profound knowledge of all issues connected with travelling. With more than million insured and turnover of more than 600m CZK Evropská has been the number one in the industry for several years. Evropská cooperates with 8 out of top 10 tour operators and holds also a significant share of corporate travel insurance market.
Libor Dvořák started his career during his studies of the Prague University of Economics with Hasičská vzájemná pojišťovna, where his last position was CFO. He moved to Evropská in 2002 in the same role and became a Member of the Management Board in May 2009.
Štěpán Landík graduated on Faculty of Economics of the Prague University of Economics. He has been working in Evropská since 2000, became a Member of the Management Board responsible for claims, policy administration and customer centre in 2014. He shall be responsible also for sales and marketing.
The new two-member Management Board shall take over the new duties after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in March 2019.
